She directed many memorable Christmas Shows and 8th Grade Musicals there as well. She also taught English at St. John's Central High School and one of her greatest pleasures was to meet former students and catch up on their achievements. After her retirement she worked part-time as a switchboard operator for Ohio Valley Medical Center.
Maryann was very involved in the Catholic Church and loved to "pray twice" through her singing. She previously directed the St. Frances Cabrini choir and was a soloist for many years. Until recently she was a volunteer at the Catholic Neighborhood Center. She always had time to listen to her daughters and loved to hear their stories about her grandchildren.
