ALLEN MERL ROBERTS

ALLEN MERL ROBERTS, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020.
Allen was born in Martins Ferry on October 10, 1930, a son of the late Pierre Joseph and Thelma (Maag) Roberts.
He was a retired photo engraver at Wheeling Newspaper, Wheeling, WV. for 47 years.
Allen served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #38 of Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by two brothers. Pierre Joseph and Terry Francis Roberts.
He is survived by a daughter, Ellen Kleinlein of Simpsonville, NC; son, Allen M. (Terri) Roberts, Jr. of Baytown, TX and a granddaughter, Erin M. Kleinlein, Jacksonville, IL.
At the families request there will be no visitation.
