BETTY HAMM Obituary

BETTY JEAN HAMM,92, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, April 5th, 2017.
She was born in Martins Ferry on September 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Michael W. and Anna Augusta (Hicks) Letzelter.
She was a retired Human Resource Manager at Swisher International of Wheeling, WV. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry; former member of the Personnel Club of the Upper Ohio Valley, a member of the Swisher International Quarter Century Club and a former member of the Ivy Twig of EORH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Hamm, Sr.; three brothers, Col. Cyril J., Michael B. and Richard T. Letzelter
She is survived by one son, Rev. Thomas F. Hamm, Jr., Gallipolis, OH. nephew, Cyril J. Letzelter, Fort Collins, Co.; four nieces Mary E. Grady, Mattoon, Il.; Lucille A. Smith, Glover, VT; Gretchen Corban and Laura Lee Letzelter, both of Reynoldsburg, OH; cousin, Barbara A. Kulpa, Wheeling, WV.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 with Rev. Tom Hamm and Rev. Tom Marut, Concelebrating.
Mausoleum Entombment followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Central School, 24 N. 4th Street Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.
