CAROLYN KLATT Obituary
CAROLYN JEAN (LEWIS) KLATT, 84, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at Liza's Place, surrounded by her family. She was born in Martins Ferry, on June 26, 1935, daughter of the late Oscar Sherman and Mildred (Probasco) Lewis.
She was a retired employee for Bel .Co. Housing Authority and a former Deacon of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Albert Edward Klatt, Carolyn was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna (Lewis) Stowers, and a brother, Richard Lewis.
Surviving are her son, David A. Klatt, of San Francisco, CA; daughter, Brenda L. Snyder, of Martins Ferry, OH; and son, Brian K. (Vicki) Klatt, of St. Clairsville, OH; grandson, Zachary (Kylee) Snyder; granddaughter, Samantha Snyder; grandson, Nathan Klatt; granddaughter, Christina Klatt, four great grandchildren, a Sister-in-Law, Ann Lewis, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry where friends will be received Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 5 until time of service at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. David Stammerjohn, officiating. The Deacons of the church will hold services at 7:15 p.m.
Interment will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry at the family's discretion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 1st Presbyterian Church, So. 4th Street, Martins Ferry, OH 43935 or Valley Hospice, 10686 St. Rt. 150 Rayland, OH 43943.
Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book to the left of her photo.
