DENNIS STEVEN CHANNEL

DENNIS STEVEN CHANNEL, 51, went to be with his son, Dennis “Bubba” on Thursday, February 6, 2020.

He was born the day after Thanksgiving in 1968, November 29.

He proudly served in the U. S. Army as a cargo specialist in the 372nd Transportation Co., Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.

Many people knew who he was. He loved to make people laugh and was very quick-witted. He always stated his mind and stood up for his family and country. Dennis could do anything that he could put his mind to. A few of his favorite words were duck, motherducker and duck you. 

He will be greatly missed by parents, Butch and Sandy; brother, Junior (Erika) of Stanford, FL., daughters, Paige and Jenna of Columbus, OH., and daughter Payton and stepchildren Angel, Jonathan, and Michael of Payton, FL.; brother Steve (Pam) and son, Owen and stepchildren Ashley, Brittany, and Jon of Newark, OH.; daughter, Megan (Matt) Engle and children, Zane and Arie of Martins Ferry, OH.; son, Kile and daughter, Natasha Channel.

A private celebration was held with close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to he American Cancer Society or  Wounded Warriors Project.
