DOROTHY LEE DEFEDE

DOROTHY LEE DEFEDE, 90, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.
Dorothy was born in Martins Ferry on June 6, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Pastor) Hodor.
She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeFede; four sisters, Mary Vetanze, Frances Groza, Nancy Smith and Isabel Berardi; three brothers, Bill, Paul and Charles Hodor, Sr.
She is survived by a son, Joseph (Jennifer) DeFede of Martins Ferry.
Friends will be received at the funeral home,Thursday from 3 - 7 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 with Rev. Tom Marut as celebrant. Family and friends will go directly to St. Mary's Church on Friday.
Wake service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School, 24 N. 4th Street, Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
