EDMUND THOMAS ABSALOM, 94, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 at his residence.
Edmund was born in Bridgeport, OH, on February 7, 1930, he was the son of the late Edmund and Geneva (Poulain) Absalom.
He was a retired truck driver for the former Ohio Trucking.
He was a member of First Christian Church Martins Ferry, OH, He served as an elder for many years.
Edmund was an antique car enthusiast and a member of the Northern Panhandle Region of the AACA.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Thomas; sister, Jean Gwinn
In addition to his wife, Nadine Joyce (Harris) he is survived by three sons, Thomas (Joyce) Lawson, Morrow, OH; Edmund W. (Amy) Absalom, Martins Ferry, OH; Patrick H. (Cathi) Absalom, Unicoi, TN; daughter, Linda J. Miller, Westerville, OH; also, Pamela (Rick) Miller, Martinsville, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry on Saturday December 14, 2024 from 10 am until time of a memorial service at 11 am, with Justin Hill officiating.
