FRANKLIN LEE WILSON, JR., 47, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Wheeling, WV, on June 10, 1977. He was the son of the late Franklin Lee Sr. and Deborah Lynn (Andrews) Wilson who survives him of Martins Ferry.
He served in the US Army as a heavy construction equipment operator. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melody Wilson.
Frankie enjoyed cooking out on the grill, fishing, telling stories, and growing sunflowers. He enjoyed life anywhere he went. He loved spending time with his niece, June. He loved his sons and talked about them any chance he could get.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Chelsea Wilson, Martins Ferry, OH; Kerry (Rick) Barson, Rock Creek, OH; two sons, Benjamin Wilson, Mentor, OH; Odion Wilson, Mentor, OH; brother, Patrick (Maddie) Wilson, Weirton, WV., twin nieces Megan and Miranda McCoy of Madison, OH, a nephew Logan McCoy of Madison, OH, a niece, June Wilson of Martins Ferry, OH, several cousins and aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
