HELEN KONTRA Obituary
HELEN ROSE KONTRA, 94, formerly of Shadyside, OH , passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
She was born in Fairpoint, OH on April 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Rose (Wykowska) Ciszewski.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shadyside, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Raymond Kontra; five brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Vicky (Mark) Giffin; granddaughters, Lindsey (Eric) Taylor, Montgomery, OH, Lauren (Craig) Virost, Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Liam, Madeline and Penelope Taylor
Friends will be received at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shadyside, OH Monday December 14, 2020 from 11 until time of Mass at 1 pm, with Father Dan Heusel as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Activity Fund at Continuing Health Care of Shadyside 60583 St Rt. 7 Shadyside, OH 43047.
