IDA ADELE JOHNSON

IDA ADELE JOHNSON, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH , died Monday, June 26th, 2017.
Adele was born in Martins Ferry, OH on December 12, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas and Audry (Tiderick) Burdess.
She was a bookkeeper at the former LaBelle Box Factory; a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Ivy Twig all of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Johnson.
She is survived by son, Gerald T. Johnson, Martins Ferry, OH; daughter, Karen J. McCoy, Columbus, OH; son, Keith R. (Deborah) Johnson, Charles Town, WV; grandson, Jon M. (Victoria) McCoy, Pickerington, OH; granddaughter, Brianna (Jack) Whicherly, Indianapolis, IN; granddaughter, Kassandra L. Johnson, Streetsboro, OH; grandson, Brandon K. Johnson, Charles Town, WV; grandson, Nathan R. Johnson, Charles Town, WV; grandson, Andrew A. Johnson, Charles Town,, WV; great grandson, Connor J. Whicherly, Indianapolis IN; great granddaughter, Kayla McCoy, Pickerington, OH; great grandson, Cameron M. McCoy, Pickerington, OH.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry where friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The deacons of the church will hold a bereavement service at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Stammerjohn officiating.
Interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. at the convenience of the family.
