JERRI A. GALLAGHER

Geraldine (Jerri) A. (Wilkins) Gallagher, age 86 of Westerville OH, formerly of Viera, FL, Lawrenceville, GA and Columbus, OH, passed away January 26, 2025. Born July 5,1938 in Martins Ferry, OH. Jerri was a 1956 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a life-long member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Jerri and her husband John moved to Columbus in 1968 where they established deep roots with their 3 year old son, John. Jerri held various jobs in Columbus, most notably with Miles Laboratory in Worthington. John then chose a transfer with Rockwell International and moved to Lawrenceville, GA. Jerri and John made numerous life-long friends in the Atlanta area before John chose another transfer to the Kennedy Space Center with Rockwell. They made their home in Viera, FL where Jerri became an Elder in Rockledge Presbyterian Church. Jerri was heavily involved in volunteering in the local Elks, Moose, VFW and American Legion organizations. They then retired to this area before moving back to Central Ohio to be closer to their 2 grandsons. Jerri was preceded in death by husband John Gallagher, parents William and Wenola Wilkins, brother Charles Lee Wilkins, sisters (twins) Yvonne and Laverne Wilkins, sister Ruth Wilkins, Sister Jean (Wilkins) Kiss and sister Evelyn (Wilkins) Bertschy. She is survived by her Son John (Missy) Gallagher, grandsons Quinn and Dane; and sister Linda (Wilkins) Archer along with numerous nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry OH where friends will be received Friday January 31,2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Elders of Grace Presbyterian Church will hold a short service at 7pm. Services will be held Saturday, February 1 at 11am at Grace Presbyterian Church, 7 N 4th St, Martins Ferry, OH, 43935. Interment in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church.
