JOHN A. DEW, "JACK"

JOHN A. DEW, "JACK", 92, of St. Clairsville, OH , died Sunday, June 19th, 2016.

Jack was born in Martins Ferry, OH on February 24, 1924, son of the late Edwin and Cora (Blinco) Dew.

He was a retired Die Setter at the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel of Martins Ferry for 35 years.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Pleasant Grove, OH; Member of Ohio City Lodge 486, Osiris Shriners, Legion of Honor, Eastern Star Valley of Steubenville and The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, Bellaire Chapter #107, Life Time Member of the V.F.W. He was also a member of Pine Valley Sportsmen Club of Adena. He enjoyed fishing, camping and boating. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Dew and sister, Shirley Bluhm.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Catherine (Snider) Dew whom he married June 22, 1946.

Services were private at the convenience of family.
