Kathy Jo Keller, 79, of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 1st, 2026 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She leaves a legacy of profound love, care, and dedication. Born on October 17, 1946, she was the daughter of Sally Lou Lodge (Joseph) and Albert “Cy” Lodge. Kathy spent her life in service to others, both in her professional career and within her cherished family.
Kathy graduated from the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing in 1967. For over 50 years, Kathy worked as a dedicated nurse. Her career was defined by compassion, healing, and an unwavering commitment to her patients. She brought comfort to countless individuals and families throughout her decades of service, embodying the true spirit of the nursing profession.
She loved gardening, sewing, embroidery work, football (GO Buckeyes!), watching America’s Got Talent, her many beloved pets, Christmas, and traveling (especially to the beach).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather John Williams, sister Becky Johnson (Lodge), brother Bruce Lodge, and step-brother John Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband Vincent Keller of Martins Ferry, OH; her children: Jeffery Keller of Martins Ferry, OH, Anissa Picard of Martins Ferry, OH, Kami Niehoff (Chris) of Columbus, OH, and her 2 step-children: Stephanie Keller of Martins Ferry, OH and Vincent Keller Jr. of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Logan Picard-Keller, Mikey Keller, and Makayla Keller, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on July 11th from 11am to 1pm at Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover St, Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.
