KENNETH ACKERMAN

KENNETH ACKERMAN, 74, of Colerain, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 17th, 2021, surrounded by his family and companion. Ken never knew a stranger. He will always be remembered by his family and friends, and always with a smile. 

Kenny was born in Martins Ferry, OH on December 31, 1946. He was the son of the late Gilbert Harvey and Lavada Ruth (Watson) Ackerman.

He was retired from Comcast Cable Co., and retired as a School Bus Driver for Martins Ferry School System.

He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain, OH., Ohio River Valley Elks Lodge, VFW of Colerain, Eagles of St. Clairsville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Caryn (Altomare) Ackerman. 

He is survived by five brothers, Richard (Patricia) Ackerman, Cincinnati, OH; Robert (Lou) Ackerman, Colerain, OH; William (Ruth) Ackerman, Clermont, FL; Donald (Kimberly) Ackerman, Colerain, OH; James (Raye Lynn) Ackerman, Bellaire, OH; and long time companion, Mary Beth Taylor, Colerain, OH.  

Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. 

Ken's remains will be entombed in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove, OH.
