MARY EVELYN STALEY

MARY EVELYN STALEY, 87, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Monday, May 23, 2022.
She was born in Bridgeport, OH on March 7, 1935, the daughter of the late Harmon and Marie C. (Strauss) Coss.
She was a retired waitress at the former Elby's of Wheeling, WV.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George; two sons, Dale and James; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by three sons, David A. (Tracey) Staley, Wheeling, WV; Gerald M. (Jamie) Staley, Wheeling, WV; Patrick F. (Jodi) Staley, Martins Ferry, OH; daughter, Constance M. (Robert) Hackett, Martins Ferry, OH; sister, Patricia K. Cika, Martins Ferry, OH. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, OH where friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, at 12 Noon on Friday, May 27, 2022 with Rev. Tom Marut as the celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
