OWEN ''BUTCH'' CHANNEL

OWEN ''BUTCH'' CHANNEL, 76, passed away at his home in Martins Ferry, OH, Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Butch was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School. He was a retired coal miner from Consol Coal.

He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and shooting. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Butch was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Channel and his grandson, Dennis “Bubbaâ€ќ Channel.

Butch left behind his wife of 55 years, Sandra Channel, two sons, Junior Channel (Erika) and Steve Channel (Pam); brother, Terry Channel and sister, Sandy Robert; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends.
