PATTI? L.? BRUNEY? KING

PATTI L. BRUNEY KING, aged 82, of St. Clairsville, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019.
Patti was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, on December 2, 1936. The daughter of the late Pie and Helen Bruney, Patti was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; two sisters, Peggy Bruney Holland and Gretchen Bruney; and her brother Pepper Bruney.
She is survived by son Mark King and his wife Muffett of Orlando, Florida. Also surviving are two nieces, Gretchen Holland Snodgrass and Paula Lynn Bruney as well as several family members of husband Wayne.
A graduate of Martins Ferry High School, class of 1954, she remained an avid fan of Purple Rider Football, taking great pride in the successes of the Bruney football legacy.
During her long career at East Ohio Regional Hospital, co- workers and lifelong friends have remarked that a day with Patti was sure to be marked with laughter.
A familiar face at Bingo halls throughout the Valley, Patti will also be remembered for her comedic performances in area stage productions.
Her Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 16 starting at 6pm at Grace Presbyterian Church, 7 N 4th Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio. Reverend William O. Webster will conduct the service in the sanctuary. Festivities featuring food and fun in the Fellowship Hall will follow.
