ROWENA ELIZABETH THOMAS, 92, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021
She was born in New Lexington, OH on April 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John Walter and Pearl Edna (Gottke) King.
She was a retired employee of the Perry County Home, New Lexington, OH.
She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall of Yorkville, OH.
She is survived by one daughter, Kira A. (Edward) Jones, Yorkville, OH; four sons: Stephen A. (Shirley) Thomas and Ronald D. (Donna) Thomas, both of Martins Ferry, Daniel L. (Kathy) Thomas, Hanover, PA, Mark G. (Theresa) Thomas, St. Clairsville, OH; brother, John D. (Maureen) King, Newark, OH. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jay B. Thomas; two brothers, Clarence and Rodney; two sisters, Edna Danison and Rose Lattimer.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
A private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery Martins Ferry.
