RUDOLPH E. TRATAR, 85, formerly of Park Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio died Monday, December 27, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Long Term Care.
He was born in Creighton, Pa. on September 7, 1919, a son of the late Anton and Frances (Germack) Tratar.
He was a retired electrical engineer at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a W.W. II U. S. Navy veteran and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. (Voytecek) Tratar and one brother, Anthony Tratar.
Surviving are a son, Bruce E. Tratar of Martins Ferry and a sister, Frances Keene of Gastonia, N.C.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004 with Rev. Thomas A. Magary as the celebrant. Interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
