WANDA WALLING Obituary
WANDA WALLING, 93, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018,
She was born in Lansing, OH on February 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Frank and Sophia (Lee) Melicki.
She was a retired librarian at Bridgeport High School, Bridgeport, OH for many years and retired in the early 90's. Before that she worked at Martins Ferry Public Library on the book mobile. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church Martins Ferry, OH.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Patrick Walling.
She is survived by daughter, Mary Beth Walling, North Huntingdon, PA; daughter, Rebecca M. (Joseph) Caldwell, Jupiter, FL; son, Patrick J. (Connie) Walling, Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Michele M. (William) Sutton, Martins Ferry, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a Funeral Liturgy with Mass which will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, OH. at 1 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 with Rev. Thomas Magary as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martins Ferry Public Library P. O. Box 130 Martins Ferry, OH 43935 or the March Of Dimes Foundation, Donation Processing Center, P. O. Box 673667, Marietta, GA 30006.
