ZITA JEAN HOSKINSON

ZITA JEAN HOSKINSON,  88, formerly of Nixon Run, Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, August 1, 2014.

She was born in Benwood, WV on December 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Mont and Anna (Higgins) Bonar.

She was a graduate of O.V.G.H., School of Nursing 1946; a retired employee of of the former Ohio Valley General Hospital of Wheeling and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Hoskinson; son, James and a sister, Kathryn

Mrs. Hoskinson is survived by daughter, Janet I.  (Richard) Crane, Wayne, ME; daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Hoskinson, Wheeling, WV; two grandsons, Matthew (Mary) Crane; Geoffrey (Karen) Hoskinson; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Ricardo) Marquez; Meredith Crane.  

Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated at  St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 11,  2014, with Rev. Tom Marut as the ce;ebramt/

Interment  followed at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.

Rosary devotions were recited at the funeral home Sunday at 3.
