TILLIE ANN ZEPPOS, 91, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018.
She was born in Martins Ferry on March 15, 1927, the daughter of the late George V. and Elizabeth (Preda) Bonchu.
She was a member of Greek Orthodox Church Of The Life-Giving Fountain of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Zeppos; two brothers, Russell and Eugene Bonchu.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna J. (Neal) Chase, Wheeling, WV and Diana M. (David) Marocco, Coraopolis, PA; two grandchildren, Natalie Urban and Nicolas Marocco, great-grandson, Owen Urban
Services are private at the convenience of family.

CHARLES ARTHUR BURSEE, "CHUCK'' 59, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Charles was born in Chicago, IL on September 25, 1959, he was the son of the late Gloria and Charles (Rosemarie) Bursee who survives him of Warwood, WV.
He was employed as a Tanker Truck Driver at Andrews Logistics out of Aliquippa, PA.
In addition to his mother, Gloria Bursee, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Marie in April of 2001.
Chucks memory will forever be cherished by those who survive; his wife of 41 years, Robin (Gibson) Bursee; daughter, Nikki (Kevin) Barker, Centerburg, OH; son, Charles M. (Kara) Bursee, Moundsville, WV; sister, Aria (Tim) Pramesa, Warwood, WV; two brothers, Brad (Renaee) Jordan, Ripley, WV; Tom (Connie) Jordan, Highland, IN; sister, Annette Thompson, Lewisburg, WV; six grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Rilee and Jayce, Barker; Hunter and Kalina Farrell; two special little girls, Reese and Claire Sommers. 
Chuck was involved in martial arts for over 40 years. A Master Black Belt in three different system; a weapons expert; recognized nationally and internationally.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry where friends will be received Monday, MAY 6, 2019 from 2 until time of service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Mark Ledford officiating.

LAWRENCE ROBERT LANDHERR, 87, of Wheeling, WV , passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. 
Lawrence was born in Des Plaines, IL on May 17, 1932, he was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Marie (Tierney) Landherr.
He was a retired mechanical engineer at Martin Marietta of Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. 
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Hobson) Landherr and a son Craig Landherr.
He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer (Robert) Wetzel, Wheeling, WV; Mary (Jonathon) Marriott, Lewisburg, PA and Ellen Greaver, Bel Air, MD; brother, Frank Landherr, Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, Shane (Melanie) Landherr, Bellefonte, PA; Courtney Landherr, Rutland, VT; Haley Wetzel, Wheeling, WV; Caitlin Marriott, Keene, NH; Zachary Greaver, Bel Air, MD; Lauren Wetzel, Wheeling, WV; Jordan Greaver, Bel Air, MD; and Carly Greaver, Bel Air, MD; great -grandson, Elijah Landherr, Bellefonte, PA.

MICHAEL JAMES (''PETE'') SALL, 83, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019. 
Pete was born in Martins Ferry, OH on August 27, 1935, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Glump) Sall.
He was a retired machinist at the former Ormet Corporation. He was a member of the Hopedale Chapter of Musky, Inc..
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise (Mozie) Sall; two brothers, John and Robert Sall
He is survived by son, Michael J. (Deanna) Sall, Jr., Martins Ferry; son, Wayne R. Sall, St. Clairsville, OH; daughter, Patti J. Lucas, Martins Ferry; son, James A. (Jacqui) Sall, Colerain, OH; sister, Shirley (Rich) Sambuco, St. Clairsville, OH; brother, Frank (Becky) Sall, Adena, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; companion, Tiny Leluika, also of Martins Ferry. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday, May 28. 2019, from 3 until time of service at 7 p.m.

George Russell O'Connell, Sr., 76, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
George was born in Wheeling, WV, on November 18, 1942, a son of the late Edward Joseph and Virginia Irene (Reakauf) O'Connell.
He was a retired motor inspector at the former Wheeling-Steel, Mingo Plant. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry. He served in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Tom, Kenney, Jack and Michael; and sister, Ellen Heller.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, Rose Marie (Leyland) O'Connell; he is survived by two sons, George R. O'Connell, Jr. and Keith J. O'Connell, both of Martins Ferry; sister, Virginia Richardson, Benwood, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his best friend, Teddie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover St., Martins Ferry, where friends will be received Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Graveside service will be held Friday, June 28, 2019, at noon, in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH, with Rev. Tom Marut officiating.
Belmont Co. Veterans Association will give military honors at noon, at the cemetery.

ROY EUGENE DUFF, 66, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Monday, July 1st, 2019 at his residence.
Roy was born in Detroit, MI on May 16, 1953, a son of the late Burklin W. and Virginia May (Farmer) Duff.
He was a retired truck driver at National Freight.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Ontko.
He is survived by son, Roy (Victoria) Duff, Jr., Bridgeport, OH; daughter, Christina Duff, Martins Ferry; three brothers, Bert R. Duff, Bridgeport, OH; Daniel R. Duff, Bridgeport, OH; Rick A. Duff, Martins Ferry; sister, Vicky Murabito, Montclair, VA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan, OH at the convenience of the family with Rev. William O. Webster officiating.

ROBERT OWEN BRUNEY, "COACH BOB", 77, of Colerain, OH, passed away Monday, July 8th, 2019.
Bob was born in Wheeling, WV on June 6, 1942, a son of the late Charles Winfield and Goldie Pauline (Bartza) Bruney.
He received his Master's Degree from the University of Dayton. Bob played football and was a three year letterman at MF High School. He was all District and all Ohio and was on the 1959 undefeated MF football team. He also was a three year letterman in wrestling where his senior year he was third in state.
Bob then attended The Ohio State University and became a Buckeye, where he played and lettered two years under coach “Woody” Hayes. Bob was one of three valley boys who received a 1961 National Championship ring from the Ohio State University Football Program 35 years after the championship occurred. Bob graduated from the Ohio State University in 1964 when he took a position at Wilmington High School as an assistant football coach for two years and where he initiated their wrestling program.  
Bob then moved on to Ironton High School where he had a successful six years rebuilding the program and laying the foundation for future success of the Ironton Fighting Tigers. He also initiated their wrestling program. His next tenure was at Brookfield High School where he was head football coach for two years.
His last move was back to his alma mater at Martins Ferry High School where he served as wrestling coach from 1976-77, Head Football Coach from 1974-1978 and Athletic Director from 1985 to 1994 when he retired.
Bob was a wrestling official for many years, doing Ohio’s local, District, Sectional and State tournaments. He also officiated the OVAC Wrestling Tournament several times. Bob was inducted into the Martins Ferry Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997 and also received the Mr. Mat Award in wrestling
He is survived by Judith Nadine (Butler) Bruney; three sons, Thomas L. (Shannon) Bruney, Phoenix, AZ; Robert D. (Ellie) Bruney, Colerain, OH; Fredrick D. (Kate) Bruney, Delaware, OH; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Zack, Niko,; Rocco, Grace, Max,; Zeke and Zanna Bruney; great-grandson, Braylen Bruney; brother, Tom (Cheryl) Bruney, Colerain, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, OH where friends will be received Friday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joe Ellis officiating.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.

DOROTHY LEE DEFEDE, 90, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.
Dorothy was born in Martins Ferry on June 6, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Pastor) Hodor.
She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeFede; four sisters, Mary Vetanze, Frances Groza, Nancy Smith and Isabel Berardi; three brothers, Bill, Paul and Charles Hodor, Sr.
She is survived by a son, Joseph (Jennifer) DeFede of Martins Ferry.
Friends will be received at the funeral home,Thursday from 3 - 7 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 with Rev. Tom Marut as celebrant. Family and friends will go directly to St. Mary's Church on Friday.
Wake service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Shirley Mae Milbert Probst, 84, of Martins Ferry, passed away Monday, July 29th, 2019. 
Shirley was born April 15th, 1935, the youngest child of the late Louis (Red) and Della Mae Barcus Milbert. 
Shirley was graduated in 1954 from Martins Ferry High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She married her high school sweetheart, Charlie Probst, on June 25th, 1955. They were married 63 years until Charlie's death on June 25th, 2018. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. When her children were grown, Shirley started a consignment craft shop, The Old Homestead. She later became the proprietor of the Mulberry Inn Bed and Breakfast in the big Victorian home in which she and Charlie lived. Shirley loved interacting with her B&B guests and developed many lasting friendships. She was an active entrepreneur in the Martins Ferry Chamber of Commerce. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Martins Ferry. 
In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Charlie, and brothers, Bob and George Milbert. 
Shirley is survived by her children, Linda (Gerald) Pockl, Chuck (Karen) Probst, Cindy (Tom Henceroth) Probst and Tom (Mary Jo) Probst. All live in or near Martins Ferry. Seven grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsey (Tray Martin) Pockl, Ashley (Jordan) Howard, Jessie Probst, Alyssa Cotsamire and Jake and Connor Probst; five great- grandchildren. In-laws, Georgia Milbert and Jim and Josie Probst. 
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kellers Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry where friends will be received on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 2nd 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.

CARL RICHARD SHEETS, JR., 67, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019.
He was born in Martins Ferry on December 8, 1951, a son of the late Carl Richard and Carolyn Elenor (Sells) Sheets.
He was a retired mail carrier at Martins Ferry Post Office. He was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was assigned to the CES Red Horse.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan; brother, Joseph.
In addition to his wife, Janet (Nagy) Sheets; he is survived by a daughter, Tina L. (Michael) Cunningham, Fredericksburg, VA; two sons, Carl R. (Brandy) Sheets III, Colerain, OH and Chad R. (April) Sheets, Drummonds, TN; two brothers, James and Jimmy; three sisters, Jan, Rosie and Kim; three grandsons, Race, Ryder and Michael; four granddaughters, Mikaela, MacKenzie, Emily and Miranda.

FLORENCE OLIVE RUNNER, 85, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Thursday, August 8th, 2019. 
She was born in Bellaire, OH on October 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Sarah Lollathin
She was employed at Sonny Boy Restaurant in Bridgeport, OH. Florence was a former member of the PNA Club of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Donald and a daughter, Tammy Brost; three brothers, Warren, George and Richard Lollathin.
She is survived by three sons, Robert L. Runner, Ricky D. Runner and Roger A. Runner, all of Martins Ferry; two brothers, Sherman of Colerain, OH and Robert of Dillonvale, OH; two sisters, Mary Lou Higgins of MN and Louise Torter of Bridgeport, OH.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services are private at the convenience of family.

She was born in Wheeling, WV on October 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Isabelle (Dean) Shober.
She was co-owner of the former, Steve Cuddihy Sales, Inc..
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Perine.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Cuddihy, Jr.; her son, Stephen (Butch) J. (Terri) Cuddihy, IV, Canton, OH; daughter, Becky A. Thomas, Maynard, OH; sister, Becky (Jeff) Dougherty, Wheeling, WV.; six grandchildren, Keara, Dalton, Colt, Korie, Shane and Stephen. , and three great-grandchildren; sister.

PATTI  L.  BRUNEY  KING, aged 82, of St. Clairsville, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019.
Patti was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, on December 2, 1936. The daughter of the late Pie and Helen Bruney, Patti was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; two sisters, Peggy Bruney Holland and Gretchen Bruney; and her brother Pepper Bruney. 
She is survived by son Mark King and his wife Muffett of Orlando, Florida. Also surviving are two nieces, Gretchen Holland Snodgrass and Paula Lynn Bruney as well as several family members of husband Wayne.
A graduate of Martins Ferry High School, class of 1954, she remained an avid fan of Purple Rider Football, taking great pride in the successes of the Bruney football legacy.
During her long career at East Ohio Regional Hospital, co- workers and lifelong friends have remarked that a day with Patti was sure to be marked with laughter.
A familiar face at Bingo halls throughout the Valley, Patti will also be remembered for her comedic performances in area stage productions.
Her Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 16 starting at 6pm at Grace Presbyterian Church, 7 N 4th Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio. Reverend William O. Webster will conduct the service in the sanctuary. Festivities featuring food and fun in the Fellowship Hall will follow.

CAROLYN JEAN (LEWIS) KLATT, 84, of Martins Ferry, OH , passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at Liza's Place, surrounded by her family. She was born in Martins Ferry, on June 26, 1935, daughter of the late Oscar Sherman and Mildred (Probasco) Lewis.
She was a retired employee for Bel .Co. Housing Authority and a former Deacon of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Albert Edward Klatt, Carolyn was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna (Lewis) Stowers, and a brother, Richard Lewis.
Surviving are her son, David A. Klatt, of San Francisco, CA; daughter, Brenda L. Snyder, of Martins Ferry, OH; and son, Brian K. (Vicki) Klatt, of St. Clairsville, OH; grandson, Zachary (Kylee) Snyder; granddaughter, Samantha Snyder; grandson, Nathan Klatt; granddaughter, Christina Klatt, four great grandchildren, a Sister-in-Law, Ann Lewis, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry where friends will be received Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 5 until time of service at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. David Stammerjohn, officiating. The Deacons of the church will hold services at 7:15 p.m.

ROBERT ALOYSIUS LAVY, 94, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away 8:45 Monday, September 23rd, 2019.
Robert was born in Toronto, OH on January 9, 1925. He was the son of the late Leo and Anna (Weisner) Lavy.
He was a retired Plant Engineer at the Former Blaw-Knox Wheeling, WV.
He was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church Martins Ferry, OH
Robert was also a member of Ohio River Valley Elks Lodge, Past Exalted Ruler Association, Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Knight and the American Legion..
 He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II.
Robert (Bob) was an avid golfer, bowler and outstanding Wood Carver.
In addition to his wife of 70 years, Regina (Walling) he is survived by five daughter, Catherine (James) Kovalcik, Martins Ferry, Cynthia (Frank) Fregiato, St. Clairsville, OH; Jeannine (Rod) Repka, Easton, PA; Roberta (Milo) Hyde, Chesapeake, VA; Denise Robinson, Rayland, OH; son, Robert (Susan) Lavy, Sterling, VA; sister, Gertrude Lantzer, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born in Martins Ferry on May 5, 1938, a daughter of the late George and Nellie Burch.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny, Elmer, Harry and Bill; sister, Rose Burch.
She is survived by three daughters, Lesa (John) Deller, Joni (David) Laslo, Christine (Roy) Padgelek; two sons, Matthew Bannan and Christopher Bannan, all of Martins Ferry; brother, George Burch, Columbus, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

JAMES THOMAS RUNKEL, "JIM" 80, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019. 
Jim was born in Martins Ferry, OH on June 8, 1939, a son of the late August and Rose (Reuther) Runkel.
He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain, OH, and spent his retirement years volunteering at Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center in Wheeling, WV.
He was the former plant manager at Bobbie-Brooks and retired from Krisport Garment Factory. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, bowling and rooting for the Cleveland Indians and Browns.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Marcia (Fornari) Runkel; daughter, Kristin (Jay) Wilson, Martins Ferry; son, Joseph (Kimberly) Runkel, Mobile, AL; three grandsons, Josh, Gregory and Nicholas Wilson; granddaughter, Emma Runkel; sister, Judith (John) Guldan, Encinitas, CA; and brother, John (Judy) Runkel, Sewickley, PA.  
Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, OH where friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m.

SAMUEL LEE PONTI,  78, of Yorkville, OH, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019. 
Samuel was born in Wheeling, WV on April 8, 1941, a son of the late Peter and Rose (Cardani) Ponti.
He was a self employed upholster.
He served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Ponti.
Sam is survived by a son, Samuel J. Ponti, Brilliant, OH; brother, Robert (Caryl) Ponti. Sumter, SC; two best fly fishing buddies, Arun Musinipally and Larry Stullenburg.
He was a perfectionist and every fly he tied was just perfect and Arun remembers him catching over 200 fish on a single clouser minnow fly he tied. His best fishing hole was at Pike Island Dam in Ohio where he caught 1000s of fish and kept a journal of every fish he caught, the size/weight of the fish , the weather, water temperature and depth of Ohio River last 30 years. He was the most gentle, honest, trustful, respectful, independent, perfectionist and regimented soul you would ever meet. Pike Island will never be the same without you. Tight lines and happy fishing in the heavens. We will miss you.

JAMES  "FIBBER"   McGEE,  JR. , 81 of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
Jim was born in Wheeling, WV on September 22, 1938, the son of the late James Harold and Pauline (Nichols) McGee.
He was a retired beer salesman for Valley Distributors and owner of the former Wine Shoppe in Bridgeport, OH. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Jean (Schwender) McGee.
He is survived by daughter, Daina Wasserstrom, Granville, OH; son, James H. ADAM ANDREW BARBOUR, 33, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020.
Adam was born in Denver, CO on March 30, 1986, he was the son of  Drew Ivan Barbour  and Cynthia (Yahn) Lewis.
He was employed as a supervisor for Apex Energy Services, out of Charleroi PA.

DENNIS STEVEN CHANNEL, 51, went to be with his son, Dennis “Bubba” on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
He was born the day after Thanksgiving in 1968, November 29.
He proudly served in the U. S. Army as a cargo specialist in the 372nd Transportation Co., Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.
Many people knew who he was. He loved to make people laugh and was very quick-witted. He always stated his mind and stood up for his family and country. Dennis could do anything that he could put his mind to. A few of his favorite words were duck, motherducker and duck you. 
He will be greatly missed by parents, Butch and Sandy; brother, Junior (Erika) of Stanford, FL., daughters, Paige and Jenna of Columbus, OH., and daughter Payton and stepchildren Angel, Jonathan, and Michael of Payton, FL.; brother Steve (Pam) and son, Owen and stepchildren Ashley, Brittany, and Jon of Newark, OH.; daughter, Megan (Matt) Engle and children, Zane and Arie of Martins Ferry, OH.; son, Kile and daughter, Natasha Channel.
A private celebration was held with close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to he American Cancer Society or  Wounded Warriors Project.

Nancy was born in Woodlands, WV on June 28, 1943, a daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel (Gatts) Kelley.

She was a retired Registered Nurse at the former East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Stauffer; two brothers, Robert and Norman Kelley; one sister, Nina Kelley Hanson.

She is survived by two sons, Michael F. (Tonda) Stauffer, Bridgeport. OH and Matthew J. Stauffer, Martins Ferry; two grandaughters, Lindy Stauffer, Bridgeport, OH and Kylie Stauffer, Bridgeport.; grandson, Lucas Ibsen, Cambridge, OH; two great-granddaughters, Emma and Skyler Ibsen; great grandson, John Ibsen; sister, Shirlene (Duke) Horstemeyer, Weirton, WV.

Leigh Ann Gildow-Gross, 62, passed away on the early morning of March 23, 2020 at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio after a short illness
Leigh Ann was born on the 25th of June, 1957 in Martins Ferry, OH to the late Roger and Rosemary (Starjey) Gildow who survives her of Martins Ferry.
She earned her high school diploma from Martins Ferry High School and pursued her dream of cutting hair at a cosmetology school. She moved to Texarkana, Texas for a long period of time where she worked at Picoma Industries. She had two beautiful children, Ashleigh and Joshua, and three grandchildren, Grayson, Hudson, and Daxon, whom she loved with her entire heart. 
Leigh Ann was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family, camping, and singing. She was also a big problem-solver. Leigh Ann had a heart of gold and so much compassion for everyone she met. She listened to others without judgement and had a soul full of grace. She was an honest person because there was no other way to be. She will be deeply missed by her children, family, and all that knew her. 
A private service will be held with interment in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.

ROBERT THOMAS DONALD, 76, of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020.
Bob was born in Wheeling, WV on December 30, 1943, the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth E. (Thomas) Donald.
He was employed by Wesbanco of Tridelphia, West Virginia. Bob was a member of the Ohio River Valley Elks Lodge #231 of Martins Ferry.
He served in the US. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Jean Cunningham and Jennie Trout: a brother, Samuel William Donald.
He is survived by his devoted loving wife “Dee” Dolores Theresa (Templin) Donald and dearly loved by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many, many loving great friends.

Jo Ann Samples, 68, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

She was born in Martins Ferry, OH, on October 24, 1951, to the late Joseph and Ann (Kloss) Topp. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Joseph and Robert Topp. She is survived by her adoring husband of 45 years, Gale Samples; her loving son, Gale Samples II, and his wife, Emily Ferris, of Pittsburgh, PA; and a very special niece and friend, Jamie Topp. They will miss her faith, her cooking, and her deep love for her friends and family.

He was a retired photo engraver at Wheeling Newspaper, Wheeling, WV. for 47 years.
Allen served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #38 of Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by two brothers. Pierre Joseph and Terry Francis Roberts.
He is survived by a daughter, Ellen Kleinlein of Simpsonville, NC;  son, Allen M. (Terri) Roberts, Jr. of Baytown, TX and a granddaughter, Erin M. Kleinlein, Jacksonville, IL.

Kyle was born in Bellaire, OH on July 11, 1977, the son of the late Ted Edward Deaton and Julia (Poch) Ring who survives him of Martins Ferry.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julius and Thelma Poch; paternal grandparents, Theodore and Clara Reeder Deaton.
